Prime Commercial Bank has contributed one million rupees to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

Bank promoter and lawmaker Umesh Shrestha handed over the amount to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala amidst a programme at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday. The assistance was provided under the 'organisational social responsibility programme' operated by the bank.

Also on the occasion, lawmaker Shreshtha said it is the responsibility of every Nepali citizen to extend support to the victims of natural disaster.  

PM Koirala expressed his gratitude to the bank for its contribution to the fund. He said the government has expected positive support from all sectors of society in these tough hours.

The PM directed the bodies concerned to deposit the assistance amount in the fund.
